At Island Landscape and Design we combine design and construction to give you a garden that will suit your site, the location and your lifestyle.Our process it all starts with a design consultation where you tell us what you need and want. We find out if you like to garden a lot, a bit, or not at all. Do you like to entertain outdoors? Do you have kids or pets? Do you have favourite colours or plants? Then we’ll deliver a design that will work best for you – and your budget.You can see how our process works,

1. Initial Consultation

  • We begin with a one-on-one consultation at your property. During this visit, we discuss your vision, the landscape settings, your budget and timeline. This helps us establish a clear design brief. We then use our local knowledge of coastal conditions and surrounds of property to create a design

2. Design and Planning

  • This is a collaborative stage where we refine the design based on your feedback. A second site visit may be arranged if required any necessary drawings provided.

3.Construction Cost

  • After finalising your garden design, we will prepare a landscape quote. Providing options that best suit your budget. Our goal is to give you a clear understanding of what’s involved, and to ensure everything aligns with your expectations before moving forward.

4. Council Approval

  • Not all projects require council approval, but if yours does, we will manage the process from start to finish. This includes conducting necessary research, preparing documentation, and lodging applications.

5. Construction

  • We begin the construction phase. Our team works efficiently and respectfully on site, transforming your design into reality with care and precision. Regular updates and communication ensure you're informed every step of the way, and that the project stays on track.

6. Final Handover

  • Once construction is complete, we’ll conduct a final walkthrough of your new garden. This ensures all elements meet your expectations and the design intent. We will also provide care guidelines and helpful tips for maintaining your outdoor space moving forward.

7. Maintenance

  • To keep your garden looking beautiful all year round, we offer to handover to the right maintenance company. We will discuss with them the outcomes and desires, so your garden continues to thrive long after creation.
